Lovely period drama. Ideal for a rainy Sunday afternoon, just add red wine! If escapism is what you need then this is ideal. Set against the backdrop of the Tyneside docklands the Fifteen Streets follows the trials and tribulations of the the working class and Catholic O'Brien family. Typically Victorian the poor O'Briens have lots of mouths to feed and not enough money to sufficiently do it. The eldest son John falls in love with the local school teacher, the oh-so perfect Miss Llewellyn. Will true love conquer the class divide? You'll have to watch it to find out!
