The day before I bought this on Ebay I went to a well known, high end store to have a look at the FP730 'in the flesh'. I liked it but it was over £200 and so thought I would just browse Ebay. This one was less than half price and I have to say I love it. So many things you can do with it. Parts go in the dishwasher no problem. I haven't spent as much time using it as I have been very busy lately but when I have time to myself I love to have a little 'play'. The bowl is quite a good size and all the tools are easy to fit and remove. One thing it does lack is a comprehensive guide/recipe book showing how each part can be used but common sense should prevail on that. The dough tool is great and the blender too as it can do great smoothies. It's not a quiet gadget but I don't mind however some people might. It does take up a lot of cupboard space as I don't have enough counter top space to keep it out on display. All in all though the more I use it and discover all the things you can do with it, I really do like it.Read full review
Kenwood FP730 lasted me 8years before the locks gave away I think that’s a fair life of any machine these days. Stores away in my kitchen cupboard so it won’t take all that space like any other modern mixers kMix or multione kinds but does mixing for you with it’s clever dough tool. Attachments- I couldn’t ask for anymore it’s got everything you need - juicer /citrus /shredder / slicer / whisk Defiantly an excellent food processor
Verified purchase: Yes | Condition: Pre-owned
this is a excellent product. i recomend Kenwood FP730 Food Processor to all my friends and all my family it is very easy to use and is very strong appliance
A really good kitchen aid, lots of attachments, everything a budding wannabe chef could want in there kitchen. A word of warning, if you intend to use it to chop up some left overs for bubble & squeak, don't turn your back on it or you will land up with a load of baby sick, not a good look.
I bought this to replace my Kenwood Gourmet, which has lasted 30 years. I chose another Kenwood because my old one has been so reliable. This processor does seem very good. It has a lot of attachments - I've given away my old blender and mill because these are included in this Kenwood. Other items include, citrus-squeezer, juicer for other fruits, wire whisk attachment for whipping cream & eggs and a blade for bread dough. Today, I've made bread dough, an avocado dip and prepared a coating for fish, in the machine. It was only delivered yesterday! I like the way it is easy to fit together; most of the components are dishwashable; the base doesn't take up much room; there is a storage 'carousel' for the smaller items. Although the main bowl is large, there is also a smaller bowl which can be used for smaller quantities. One slight disadvantage is the noise level in use on the highest setting, but it's so quick, the noise doesn't last long. Other down-sides: lots of items to store - it's not for the small kitchen and unless you're a compulsive cook(like I am),you might not need such a versatile processor. I can't actually make a comparison with other food processors - I've only ever used a Kenwood. My previous model is probably unattainable new so I can't recommend that one. But if you want a comprehensive machine to assist you with a variety of culinary tasks, This could well be the one for you. It even comes with a small cookery book!Read full review
