The mat is large enough to completely cover my folding table, it fits over the table fold 'seam' to make a nice flat surface. The fabric seems a little 'floofy' as it seems to be two layers of felt-like fabric (my smaller Grafix one is a single thick felt layer) and I had to hang it two days over the airing tower to get the transit folds smooth enough to make the mat usable (I also ironed it with a towel over to prevent 'melt') but over all it was a good purchase and I'm happy with it. I won't be using the joinable roll tubes (I keep an active puzzle on the table until finished and photographed) but it's nice to know I could if I wanted or needed to.
