I bought this saw to neatly cut some 12 mm ply. I can’t use a normal circular saw due to only having one arm working! It performed very well single handed, although the handle was only just small enough to grasp comfortably. I cut very straight lines using a guide batten. Quality seems ok. I haven’t used the mitre guide yet, so can’t comment on that. Overall I’m very happy with it.

You get what you pay for as they say... This saw is fine for what I needed, but it's not the best quality. The cutting guide is ever so slightly off so it doesn't cut exactly where you want it... The mitre attachment again is off so the saw blade was catching it - the guide needs to be narrower so the saw can't move left/right... The ceramic cutting disc was no good at cutting tiles... Apart from all that it's fine!

Overall I am really pleased with this saw. I have just replaced a bathroom floor, cutting out the old and cutting new boards to fit. The saw worked really well with both the depth of cut and laser being useful features. Dust extraction is also very effective, though the pipe is very flimsy and collapses easily when pressed against something or bent at a tighter angle. Well worth the effort to use though. I've not used the mitre setup yet, so no comment. Most annoying feature is switch "safety" release mechanism, which is easily the most awkward of any I have ever come across, couple this with the blade depth release mounted on top, and you really wish you had three hands! Having said that, the saw, in it's own bag, is now one of my favourite tools in terms of value for money and performance.Read full review

Great value for money as you get a carry bag and a mitre rail. Works well once you have mastered the on/off switch a plunge mechanism. Please note that bolt holding blade on has a anti clockwise thread as people who do not bother reading the instructions had damaged it. Blade bore is 10 mm. I highly recommend.

Compact easy and comfortable to hold saw safety features took a little getting used to but the power is great zipped through my 10mm upvc boards giving a perfect smooth cut yet to try the case of other tools yet that came in the handy carrying bag
