We bought two for our community garden project. For the price they represent good value however there are some issues. Admittedly we are operating them towards the limits of their declared operational limits. However not beyond! NEGATIVES: The manual does not provide enough performance related data and fails to cover in detail all the pumps 'objects'. ie the red 'bleed' nuts ... what are they, why and how are they used? The threaded fittings , made of plastic, soon wear and leak . Some unessesarily are comprised of multiple connecting pieces adding to the complexity and risk of leaks. Far too easy to vertighten fittings. Far too easy to damage the plastic threads. The suction pipe is too regid ... retains a tight coil that can easily split when straightened .... As yet we have been unable to run the units with the filter fitted when drawing water from around 8 meters. PLUS: When operating the units drawing from water butts or pond .. they perform well. Nicely designed the performance to cost ration is excellent when you compare to the cost of similar performing commercial pumps. Easy to handle and stow away. Low price tag In our opinion would be best fitted into a perminent position where the minimum of srewing and unscrewing is nessesary. A much longer suction pipe should be an option. Bespoke snap on fittings similar to Hozelock should be considerd for all connections.Read full review

great pump and dose the job ok. Priming is very easy but do not connect a hose when priming as it will take hours and please read the manual first or you could very easy damage the pump. The only down side to me is there is no way that it is pumping out 3.5 bar or 50psi but it is still very powerful pump. Over all very good value for the money very easy to set up if you read the manual. The manual very simple to understand. Everything come in the box that you will need

This is great. I use it with my swimming pool so that the kids can spray each other with water guns, I don't have to keep plugging extra hoses in etc. Just put the suction in the water and the let the kids get on with it. The flow is very good but personally I would have preferred a little more, but that is so that I can knock the kids of their play floats. I believe it is good for watering the garden too!!! But great for swimming pools!

a bit disappointing that you have to prime the pump to get it to work but once working it does a great job at running sprinkler 20m away runs quietly hardly notice it is on
