the last TV i got was a 32" samsung 5 years ago, It lasted this long and never let me down but figured it was time for an upgrade. Many choices available but samsung did me well so I figured why not go for samsung again. So glad I did! this TV has excellent functionality, you can stream video from your laptop directly to the tv! no more going through the xbox! Picture quality is amazing, and although the sound quality isn't incredible its amazing considering how thin the TV itself is! All in all an excellent choice, if your worried about the sound quality don't! just get a sound bar, you won't find amazing sound on any thin TV nowadays, its the cost of keeping them so thin

Super picture, sound pretty good too and easy to use, but a couple of small problems. 1. when selecting different HDMI/TV inputs, screen goes very dark and almost impossible to see. Second/third press of the "Source" button wakes it up again. 2. Not enough of the older style inputs for older equipment. Otherwise, the best TV for MY requirements currently available presently, that I am able to use. Absolutely fantastic picture quality, even from standard Freeview. Freeview HD is nearly as good as "being there" My Sony blue ray player is so good through this TV, that I don't want to turn it off. And after saying all this, it looks good (and simple) as well.

I had a Samsung 48"HD which was perfect, upgraded to SkyQ without realising I couldn't watch UHD on it! Bought the 50" Samsung to watch the UHD which is amazing! But I would recommend the 50" Samsung just for the HD, the picture quality is absolutely amazing!!

Received tv yesterday. Well packaged, picture quality brilliant. Stand has scratches, but this doesn't detract from the tv itself, & isn't visible behind our soundbar. Overall very pleased, as it appears barring the stand, this is the only thing wrong with this refurbished tv.
