Just like to add, this two channel mixer, an update to the iRig Mix, this is digital, the sound quality is awesome, however I was limited when trying it out for the first time to the apps I am accustomed to using in my production, but you can plug a guitar with a quarter jack input and a microphone with an XLR input, and you can perform live as far as I can say, recording, I may be behind on my iOS update therefore it may be possible to record both mic and guitar together, however I think with Ampkit you can just record one at a time, which professionally is a lot better, just jam your first demo and then re think the vocals to work like a song, I would recommend, the iRig Pro Duo runs on batteries, it gets picked up apps such as Intua Beatmaker 2, however to get sound from the mic and guitar you might need to wire it through the Audiobus app and run Ampkit in Input and Beatmaker 2 in output, there are several issues I as DIY musician born from the iOS music scene, have with midi and things similar, it is a bit too difficult for me to grasp right now... You get two quarter jack inputs for output to speakers right and left, headphones to monitor, midi inputs, and two XLR to 3.5 mm audio cables which can be used to Djay between two devices, I might try the Amplitude app by iRig just so that I can record my performances not just play and record just one of the channels at a time...We'll see.
