I have used a Bose wave for many years and after it finally died after heavy useage I decided I wanted something cheaper just to go in the lounge --I heard this in an electrical store and a passer by said -" its great for the price" After taking my own Dire Straits CD into the store to play it I agreed with them and promptly purchased this from Panasonic Refurb store on eBay at a crazy bargain price --simple to set up, it comes with a remote controller thats great, sound can be tweaked and for a normal lounge or kitchen this great little unit will provide nice quality music -of course it lacks the depth and quality of a Bose -but hey the Bose is at least 10 times more money! Great -I'm delighted with the quality of construction, the finish and the most importantly the sound --for the low price and Panasonic Refurb on eBay have provided a superb service and after-sales that's hard to beat. I received this refurbished CD player recently, however, it died on me within 5 seconds of switching the unit on. The sound quality ( from the brief period it worked) was very, very poor. I would not recommend buying this item and nor would I recommend buying a refurbished unit.

We bought this hi fi to use in a caravan, so size was important. It is easy to use with a small remote control and the sound is excellent. It remembers programmed radio stations even when not connected to the power. It comes with a wire aerial which is acceptable, but can also be used with a coaxial type. Very pleased.
