This is a good product, portable we take it with us in our motorhome but it has its limitations. It is easy to use and heats pretty evenly. This is third one I have bought. The problem is that after a couple of years the stainless steel burner rusts through and disintegrates leaving the rest of the BBQ perfectly usable, if this part of the product was replaceable or was made of cast iron it would be better value. They are cheap enough to replace although my first one was £25.00 so the price is creeping up.

You need to assemble the parts first, not too difficult, you’ll need a screwdriver & something to grip small nuts. The gas input is supposed to have holes through it ! the gas won’t leak out of the holes because the holes draw air in to mix with the gas, the person that wrote about having to cover the holes has obviously never been to a school that had Bunsen burners in the science room. The grill works okay, the lava rocks are both in short supply & some are too small & fall through the grate, I have some more lava rocks ordered. The grate that holds the rocks I can see not lasting long, very thin metal that is getting very very hot. Other than that, I found that the grill did a good job of cooking my food & is small enough to clean in a kitchen sink. Also it’s pretty good on gas usage if you use the lid to trap the heat in. Bought this BBQ to replace small bucket type BBQ we use when moored up on our boat. As such it works very well, much easier to use and faster. It went together with no problems and seems well built. Good value for the money.

This little cheap BBQ is simple but functional. Its only the 2nd one I have bought in eight years and got same model.. The burners tend to rust badly if left to the open air but you can even buy them separately if you want to fit them yourself. Otherwise if you clean and put them away for the winter somewhere dry they last years. I used to take this fold up BBQ to horse shows with a small gas bottle and it was going most of the afternoon. It hasn’t got any knobs & whistles like a self igniter etc but at the price its brilliant.. Personally I house it in a brick windshield in my garden with a facility of a ‘higher’ wire shelf to just keep food warm. I prefer it to a larger ‘posh’ one we had years ago, and it folds away simply after use. GOOD product., recommended.

Good sized portable bbq, it heats up in about 5-10 minutes due to the variations in lava rock it has different heat zones which is useful for cooking different types of food, neat design and well made this is my first gas bbq and to be honest the flavours of the cooked food is very comparable with my old charcoal bbq very happy with it and no messy coal and ash I would recommend this for 2-3 people bbq’s.
