I like the vax blade its light and easy to use while its easy to empty, the filter inside the dust collection box is quite hard to clean as you cannot remove it a small size paint brush is the only way to clean it properly to get dust from down sides of filter but otherwise it's worth the money.

Was excited to receive my product as I have heard great things about Vax products. I felt the item worked for about 2/3 weeks then problems hit, the brushes not moving around, debris collecting in the bottom section instead of going up to its holding place. I charge regularly, clean item, check all areas are clear, clean the filter etc but the item is still not functioning now. Disappointed as the site I bought it from had good reviews so maybe I have had an unlucky experience

Better than expected. Bought this Vax for my static caravan. Had been using a heavy corded Dyson. The suction on the Vax v12 does the job brilliantly, much lighter and manoverable than the dated Dyson. Great for getting into small places .eg bathroom and bedroom. Would recommend.

Box arrived quickly and totally UN-damaged! Machine inside in original packing had never been opened. Works very well - especially the motorised head which is very easy to steer into awkward places. Easy to empty too and easy to clean the filters. Easy to re-charge too. Although the run time is very good, we use this as a second machine - for example after making the fire, accidental spills, cleaning awkward areas such as loos and the like. It is great for cleaning the car out too - without the faff of extension cables. The only niggle is that the small space nozzle attachment is too short for places such as down the sides of car seats. Alltogether, very pleased. Full functions at a quarter of the price of the big brands.

Bought this refurbished Vax as a second vacuum to save carrying the heavier Dyson upright up and down stairs. The Vax is lightweight, easy to use and charges reasonably quickly. Battery life is an issue when the Boost function is used (necessary to get up our dog's hair from the carpets) but 25 minutes is enough time for most vacuuming. The exchangeable heads fit tightly and make it easy to use on the stairs and for getting cobwebs off the ceiling or dust from inaccessible corners. It would have been useful if the wall mounting bracket had been bigger to provide stowage for the cleaning heads (they are sitting on a shelf beside the charging point) but also, I predict it may wear over time and fail under the weight of the machine.. Ergonomically it is easy to hold and use. Emptying is straightforward, albeit the dog hair does tend to stick in the "goblet". Overall, this is a good, sturdy machine for either a small house or as a second vacuum cleaner for upstairs in a larger house. Read full review
