Haven't had to use it in earnest yet, but everything seems to be OK. I had the same make of unit years ago and it always worked fine.

As a 'jump start unit' its useless for anything larger than a 500cc engine. The peak current rating means nothing. It's a 17AH battery, but you don't get to know that until you open the cardboard box after delivery (and for various reasons, I didn't for almost 9 days). The air compressor is slow, it takes almost 10 minutes to take a flat tyre (with 17psi in it) up to 32psi, and you have to switch it off for 10 minutes then to let the thing cool down. So doing a weekly tyre check on my aging alloys which drop from 32 to around 20psi takes almost an hour - versus 15 minutes with my Halfords unit (which draws 12v from the car) The maintenance light is pretty useless as its fixed on the front of the unit and cannot even be angled, so never shines where you want it to. I'm a far from satisfied customer!Read full review

Light weight boosting abilities, I bought mine less than a year ago when not in use it got a a regular mains charge to keep the batteries topped up, nearly a year later it will not hold a charge and will not boost the car battery, I am guessing the batteries in the pack have lost their ability to hold a charge. Even when it did work last winter during the " Beast from the east" it struggled to charge a basic 12v 45CCA car battery. This is a cheap product and not designed to last, but then you have to realise its not British built ,it was made in China, you do get what you pay for. Save your money and buy a decent quality booster pack they retail from £70.00 upwards anything less is a false economy.

Tried to restart my Peugeot 207 1.4L which had a absolutely dead battery due to standing out for too long and it cranked but it wouldn't start the engine. So had to call the AA and as soon as he put his on, it worked straight away. AA said the 12V battery was too weak!! and yet this product advertise for car up to 2L!!
