I have this mouse at work so when I wanted a wireless mouse at home there was no contest and I bought the same thing. I personally find it excellent - good features, accurate tracking, efficient battery life and I can use it for long periods of time. However like so many things your mileage may vary and I suggest to try one for size before committing to a purchase!

On purchasing this product 5 weeks ago I was very impressed, the good points being: 1, Perfect size 2, Ease of setting up 3, Good performance, with smooth, quiet controls 4, Long battery life 5, Good value Not so good: 1, The unnecessary rubber side pads have already started to feel sticky, as if the material is degrading. This alone is my only criticism and probably an unusual fault, however stops me awarding 5 stars

For the last 12 years I have only bought Logitech mouses as I know what I am getting. Never had a bad one and have only replaced the last one as it got damaged. This replaced my Logitech M505 which became unreliable due to micro switch bounces (i.e. unwanted double-clicks). Tis is a good replacement although it has caused me problems on a couple of occasions with the screen pointer freezing. I haven't managed to get to the bottom of this yet and recovery was awkward. I wonder if it was due to the fact that both the M505 and the M510 are both registered.

i bought one of these years ago and it has served me well; just lately it was getting a bit sluggish, so i treated myself to a new one. FIRST FABULOUS FACT, it is identical to my previous one, and works instantly. SECOND FAB FACT i can programme about 4 tasks of my own choosing onto the various buttons and knobs, so i can highlight, cut and paste with a few clicks instead of having to search out the little curly arrows on the screen. THIRD when you are in Excel you just click a button to go from one page to the next, and back (in a multi page workbook) FOURTH it's cordless, the batteries last ages and it's a doddle to change them.
