the problem with water flossers is that that the battery needs to be perfect to get adequate pressure. I have had both waterpik and Panasonic flossers that have needed replacement within two years. In the long run this may be no better but it was much cheaper and it is extremely effective so I would choose this one on value grounds.

Takes a little getting used to, with the odd unintentional facial in the early days. Simple to operate and easy to fill. Works well but my hygienist says that to be effective you should use it every day.

I've had a couple of water piks but they both suffered from a corrosion problem with the charger contacts. This one has no contacts to corrode. I use it daily and I've had it about 6 weeks and it's still running on the initial charge. Like the 3 settings for soft, full power and pulse. Very pleasantly surprised.

Takes a bit getting used to with the continuous flow of water jet after having had two Philips flossers previously.which have a delay between water pulses.but lasted less than a year.

A bit bulky in your hand, but OK when you get used to it. Also reservoir doesn't last very long, so need to refill a couple of times each use. If you're not careful you get a lot of splash-back. Waterproof so OK for use in the shower.
