    Great adaptor allowing A (international) clamp cylinder systems to be filled from DIN cylinders

    The story of this adaptor begins when a friend bought me a self-filling DSMB fitted with an A clamp (international) style "crack bottle" as a present not realising all my equipment is DIN fit. This adaptor allows me to fill the crack bottle from any 230 bar DIN fit cylinder without resorting to a valve plug, simply by screwing the adaptor's DIN fitting into the full cylinder and attaching the A clamp fitting on the crack bottle to the other end - simplicity itself. The scuba diving club I'm with also uses a small portable compressor for use on expeditions to remote dive sites in the UK. As the compressor is fitted with an "A" clamp filling whip this adaptor will now allow us to easily fill DIN fit cylinders directly from the compressor without having to fit and remove a cylinder plug ...
