I have an old Flymo leaf collector/blower which does not shred but this Draper does so you collect more leaves and fewer emptyings, it also has a long tube and therefore easier to collect leaves off the garden which is why I bought it,, also it has a good suction far better than my old Flymo which I have now disposed of. I didn't want a leaf collector with wheels on as i have a motorised collector for the leaves on the grass. I am very pleased with my purchase and at a good price on Ebay.
