WAS EXACTLY WHAT WE WANTED - we had exactly the same one and after many years of use it finally died :( so we replaced it with exactly the same one , and the new one works perfectly , subsequently we actually found out it was the cable that was faulty on our old one , we bought a new cable on e-bay for £2.99 delivered, so now have 2 , so have given 1 to our daughters to put in their car , just in case - although they tend to use maps on their phones rather than sat nav's .

I bought it and it doesn't charge so I didn't use the sat nav yet.

To be honest not too impressed. Does the job but all I can say positive. This came with a free update from Garmin. Despite this one road in my town that can only be used by busses and taxis was suggested as a route and I had to do a fair stretch of the A1 whith the damn camera warning going off because the camera information was a year out of date and it didn't know that the speed limit was 70 NOT 50! The warnings cannot be disabled that I can see and certainly not while driving. Instructions are often given a bit too late and as the map keeps changing shape your left confused when glancing at it (versus not looking where your going). It sees fit to not show certain junctions etc that are not part of your route making it had to orient yourself. When you remove the charger it asks if you still want to have it on, if you say yes it stays on with a dim screen, yess very useful - NOT! The mount it came with was defective and I had to get a replacementRead full review
Ok condition really cant complain at what I paid for it. easy to use Happy
