If like me, you fit this to a so-called bridge camera, take note. On my Sony, the lens range is 35 - 210 (allegedly) and at the wide angle end of this spectrum the lens hood is just visible in the viewfinder, which does produce an effect known as ' vignetting' on you picture. True this can be cropped, so only a minor hiccup.

This kit was purchased to use with my Sony Camera fitted with a 55mm Carl Zeiss Lens. First and foremost, everything fits as it should. Even the lens cap is useful as the standard Sony lens cap does not have a means to secure it the camera and strap. The caps provided in the kit do. Another neat touch is that the lens filters are supplied with a pouch to keep them from getting scratched etc. Most important of all, the supplier is more than happy to check lens sizes etc for you to ensure it all fits correctly. I was sure of the size from the camera's spec sheet but they still checked thread size etc. Finally, the full range of equipment they supply is vast and well worth looking at.
