I believe Faber Castell holds a strong reputation when it comes to the art world and I am a big fan of the 9000 series graphite pencils or Mars Lumograph. I wasnt really sure about these pencils whenI bought them. I do alot of graphite portrait work and for me I just did like the lay down of the graphite pencil I found them to be somewhat rough or grainy. I prefer the 9000 because I get a smooth finish with blending and with these pencils it wasnt smooth. I found ity was more of a rough blotty finish. I would use them again but I think they could be more suited for techinical drawing where the finish is not as important. I wouldnt not buy these pencils again for that reason but I would still recomment them.

Faber-castell is a very high quality Graphite Pencil , does a great job on sketch work with soft to hard on light shading to darker tone to bring the best out on your sketch . Picture quality is 8 to 9 for best effort can't complain good set to focus on.
