Well it IS a cheap option for 3D scanning, so keep that in mind. I do not have much experience with other similar products, so I can only judge the relationship on this unit compared with my expectations. I see a lot of misplaced dots in a scan, so expect the need for a lot of manual cleanup afterwards. It is very easy to set up and get going. Scanning takes a very long time. (hours) But again... Cheap.

Great detail in the scans! Once you scan it, save the .STL file (or whichever you need) and send it to the 3D printer you had... done! I printed from a Robo R1 3D printer, turned out awesome! I say the colors aren't accurate as you can make it any color you wish.
