I was reluctant to order my new control plate, but because I wanted a truly quality unit, I chose to take the chance. I cannot express just how nice this unit is. Every part is quality (and it shows), all of the soldering was done meticulously, everything about my new control plate is perfect. I almost wish it had a "clear cover to show it off. It works as nice as it looks. No Hassle whatsoever, just solder your own pickups where indicated, and screw it down. I will be ordering another shortly. No more messy wiring jobs for me, nicer than OEM!! PC

Very easy to wire with the exception of one wire. Once I figured out I was missing one wire, everything worked perfectly! I have a Seymore Duncan humbucker on the bridge with a Dimarzio Twang King pickup on the neck. The sound is way hotter than I expected and couldn't be more pleased. I can go from a fat sound to as twangy as it gets. And the tone variations are awesome. It was definitely worth the time and investment.

Love the additional pickup configurations this control plate adds. The pickups in series gives a fat "boosted" signal and the tinny out-of-phase combinations are fun to play around with. It's made from top quality components, exactly as described, and supremely assembled (to the point where one feels ashamed to hide it and not show it off). I installed this in a Squier CV 50's tele; this was non-optimal since it requires work to the body. The S-1 switch is much taller than the regular potentiometer and the cavity needed some extra routing (my trusty Dremel did the job). Additionally, the hole in the stock input jack plate was a smidgeon to small and needed some sanding. This probably is valid for some other (Squier) Teles as well. Easy solution is to inspect whether the cavity has a hump/reinforcement under the volume pot prior to ordering. Compared to the stock Squire, the potentiometers have a completely different, more premium feel--more distinct, less plasticy. The plate itself is a thicker gauge, probably upwards of 40% thicker which makes it look more robust and it has less distortion/wrap resulting in a higher quality impression.Read full review

I contacted them about a missed solder joint and their not using the capacitor specified and they replied promptly but failed to follow through, save your money and get a tech to do it for you or do it yourself. Just overall it was an extreme pain to have to take it all apart and fix what I paid for. I'll never use them again or recommend them to anyone!
