Bought this after seeing reviews in PC PRO and Computer Shopper. Obviously went online to see if the price could be lower elsewhere. And low and behold.....it was ! Paid £54 inc delivery for this great printer/scanner/fax/copier. Almost HALF of the review price. Comes with starter ink cartridges (when you need more, shop around) Has an A4 paper tray which is also the output tray. makes things more compact. To replace the inks, there is a little hinged door on the right hand side of the printer (looking at it from the front), and each colour has it's own cartridge. Unlike some printers that have combined 3 or 5 colours, you only replace what you need to. You can get XL sizes, and also an XL black ink, but see how much printing you do with the starter cartridges first ! The document feeder is under the top lid, and it'll do duplex (both sides) scanning. Or you can put a document directly on the scanner, which you lift up the lid (close the document feeder flap). Setup : You can use it straight out of the box, as a standalone. But...install the software. It comes on a disc, or you can download it from the Brother website. Wireless, USB and Ethernet (network cable), and phone line sockets are all the connectivity you'll need ! There is a USB socket hidden under a small front flap, for usb memory sticks to direct print. This thing has a small colour touchscreen, which is good, and it's clear and simply laid out. Comes with a quick setup guide and the full manual is on the disc/online. Print output : Single side and duplex (both sides) A4 and A3 (via the bypass/input tray at the back),but you'll need to adjust the (A4 max) paper tray and it can seem very stiff, I thought I'd broken mine, but it was ok. Good as standard, suggest a 90gsm paper, as the 80gsm I've been using is quite thin and you can see print through from the other side. You'll need to change the quality settings before you print, especially if you are printing photos or colour documents, as the richness isn't there in normal mode. That said, you'll use less ink ! Print speed : WOW ! after using laser printers at work, this Brother printer is quick. From the time you hit PRINT, to the first page being ready is quite something. Especially if you have to stand up and turn around to get that printed page, you should find a few ready, just in that time alone ! Negatives ? hardly any ! If you sleep in the same room as your new printer, you may find the slow pulsing home light on the front too bright. I stuck some insulation tape over it ! Single sheet printing : The input tray is at the back of the printer, so as most people will no doubt put it up against a wall, you'll need to move the printer away from the wall so you can access the flap. The plastic is a little flimsy in places, so don't lean on the output tray ! Overall : If you are in need of a printer/scanner/copier/fax then have a good look at this Brother Brother MFC-J5320DW. For the price, it's features and low cost per page are going to take some beating !Read full review

Had ridiculous difficulty with toner carts. Printer failing to recognise it's own make! Cost £40+ for new set before Printer would work. So- never again Brother.

Easy to set up Wi-fi printer - I can even print straight from my iPad! Takes A3 size paper AND prints on both sides of the paper. The top opens up as a sheet feeder, both for copying and faxing.

Working well at the beginning. For reasons that I cannot understand, the printer is fading the colours. The black is not black anymore, but very light grey, most of the times difficult to read. I have tried all options (change ink cartridge, update drivers and firmware, ..) with no success. I gave it up. No more Brother again.

This is a good quality printer does everything you need, print quality first class, my only criticism would be the A3 printing option very difficult to use not a simple one handed processing not it best function
