This shock mount is very big, and pretty heavy. Combined with the Yeti or Yeti Pro microphone, and The Pop pop filter, the entire unit gets to be fairly heavy, and unfortunately, incompatible with most of the easily affordable microphone boom arms on the market. However, this does get the intended job of getting rid of vibration noise done pretty well. Previous Radius designs had a problem with the hinge at the screw in area for a mic stand. The Radius II has a lock mechanism there, so that the unit doesn't flail about due to it's own weight. Again, it's heavy, and Blue knows that. I'm glad they fixed that problem, because I was seeing about zero acceptable reviews for the Radius Shock Mount before that. The biggest issue with the thing now, is the weight. Although, the weight is possibly necessary, because it is a solid design.Read full review

WHAT I LIKE: I really like the fact, that this product actually gathers the vibrations and you can't no longer hear them in your mic. Which is also the purpose of this item and it's worth the price. WHAT I DON'T LIKE: There is no instructions how to put mic on it. You have to figure it out yourself.
