I decided to give this product a try as I have never used a Mac before and wanted to find out how they differ from PC's without spending the Earth. I found the G5 to be really great at the low end tasks I require it for, such as browsing web pages, watching video, creating DVD's, listening to Podcasts and word processing and some simple games. Unfortunately since it only has OS X Tiger, it is unable to run the latest version of itunes, but this is the only real problem I had - it also doesn't run the latest version of Flash but it is possible to get round this fairly easily with a quick google. Despite being about 6-7 years old, the machine still looks fairly sleek and modern. Switching to using a single button mouse was one thing that put me off initially, but due to the way OS X works differently to windows, this is not actually a hinderance. Obviously the latest software and games won't work but for someone with mid to low requirements, this machine is great value, and is a good way to try out a mac without spending too much.Read full review
I bought this machine to run some of my old software. The computer was very clean well looked after and in original boxe. I tested it for its performance and was well satisfied with it. I liked it very much. There are many similar items on the market but none of them as good this computer which was in prestign condition . Best value for money
Lovely all in one unit; excellent value for the price, easy to place about only 1 power cable and keyboard and mouse, lacks the processor to have chrome or to upgrade the O/S that's the only issue ; every thing else works just works. good mac start-up.
