I originally bought this DVD for myself (because I am an F1 fan) some years ago, and always thought it was good hour of nostalgia. The extra of Murray being taken for laps in the McLaren two-seater with Martin Brundle driving are very good, and frankly, this piece is worth the tenner I paid alone. eBay asked me to write a review on this recent purchase, which I am pleased to do. Why did I buy it again? Because my friend's sone (aged 6) is really interested in F1 and I thought he might like to see some of the history of it all. Believe me - he loves it. It has (apparently) been used every day since Christmas. In a nutshell, Murray takes us through his top ten drivers evr (up to c. 2002), really only ranking the top three. I will not say here who is included and excluded from this, not who he ranks as number 1. Buy it watch it (over and over if you must, Joshua!). Go, go, go to the shops - or buy it on eBay. My most recent purchase was cheaper than the one I bought seven years ago!Read full review
F1 Greats. Within this film Murray Walker presents his 'top ten' drivers who deserve this tittle. You may agree with his choice, you may not: However it is all done in his usual style with his usual knowledge of the sport. Many of you will look in vain for names like Graham Hill, or even his son Damon. You will be surprised also that he left out James Hunt, a great friend with whom he shared a commentators mike. There are many great names missing. On the whole, those that are left in truly deserve their place, and choices have to be made when making a film such as this. If you are a fan of F1, then you can not help but be impressed with the filmed footage of each drivers achievements in this often dangerous sport. You will, once again share the agonies and ecstacies of their carree moves, that sometimes meant they lost chances of World Championship points. Throughout the film though, you will see that,in the majority of cases, not many of them ever regretted these moves, just as long as they were taking part in the sport they loved. You will hear, almost, straight from the horses mouth, so to speak, the views and opinions of each driver on particular races, a sort of post morten of each race performance. It is a very well put together film, and even includes just one or two of the immortal 'cock-ups' that Murray became famous for. Well worth a watch, even if at the end of it, you may feel that he left out your favorite driver(s) Well done though Murray, he must have known that he would be criticized for this, but he went ahead anyway.Read full review

I didn't buy the DVD for myself, but as a stocking filler for my son who is Formula 1 mad. However when I watched the DVD with him, I found it to be extremely intresting as it covered many periods of the Formula 1 history. I would recommend this DVD to anybody with even a passing intrest in the subject.
Basically I am a avid F1 fan. The DVD was on offer at a very reasonable price. Can't think of anything I disliked about it. Really enjoyed would recommend. A+++++
