Don't pay attention to negative reviews. This machine makes great ice cream, use good quality ingredients for a good quality ice cream. It's very easy to use and produces smooth ice cream. Don't jump the gun and stop it because it has reached the recommended time frame, wait until the ice cream is just below or kissing the fill shoot. 2ltrs sounds a lot but everyone wants to try it, so it doesn't last long. The machine is super easy to use and clean, just let the mixing bowl thaw out before you wash it. This ice cream maker is worth buying, easy to use, only 3 parts to clean and it's compact size takes up little counter space. Your gonna love it....

If you keep in freezer, or even freeze overnight, the cream tends to stick to the sides and bottom and it sticks fast. I’ve reduced the temp in the freezer but it still does it. Perhaps leaving the bowl to defrost for an hour before you use ( counter to the instructions), it might help.

Simple to use, simple to clean, a bit noisy since you need to run it 20-30 mins at a time, but fine if you can run it in another room... it's a powerful machine. The best bit - it makes Great Ice Cream...! Very useful to use since we're doing the Keto Diet so this allows us to make sugar-free recipes using Xylitol sweetener, full cream and fruit... which taste wonderful.

With the summer heatwave we’ve had in the UK, our family has been getting through £££ of storebought icecream a week and, deciding enough was enough, we bought an ice cream machine in hopes to save some money in the long run. We froze the bowl overnight, also collecting the ingredients for a classic ‘custard base’ (google it, very easy) to prepare the night before we wanted icecream. The machine is simple to use, throw the bowl onto the base, drop in the paddle and throw on the lid. We poured in our first flavour, mint choc chip (- the choc chips, they go in near the end) and turned on the machine, which began to whir into life and mix the liquid about in the bowl. After 15 minutes or so, the liquid had taken on a soft serve consistency and it was time to pour in the choc chips for the last few minutes of churning. I transferred the contents of the bowl into Tupperware and left it to set up in the freezer overnight - it tastes best that way! The next morning we were greeted to home made icecream that impressed us so much we went out to fetch more ingredients for another couple of batches not long afterwards. This machine really does make icecream that can outclass store bought contenders, both in taste and in value for money. Read full review

At last, an easy to use and clean ice cream machine. But even though it’s a 2 lt. bowl I only make 1 lt. at a time, so the churned ice cream does not go over the top. I would certainly recommend this machine, so glad I bought one.
