I've wanted one of these for a while. It's an FX lens which I use on a D7200 (DX) which makes it not only an excellent Macro lens but on a DX camera it effectively becomes a 90mm Lens which then also makes it a great Portrait Lens and it accomplishes it's function brilliantly

It's very good. It doesn't have VR but is easy to hold steady. It takes sharp photos. I bought it to copy slides and negatives with the Nikon ES-2. I wouldn't have bought it as a micro lens otherwise as the distance to the subject is too close but it works a treat as a copier and is good as a general lens.

Its small light and easy to carry. Not the brightest at F2.8 but the macro is useful and its not expensive.You can use it for portraits as well as macro shots. Its useful to have in your bag. I had a 105 macro but that was a lot heavier and longer.

Had a copy of this lens for a short time previously and did not use often. Sold it and regretted doing so. Went looking for another very soon after... Great for getting really CLOSE focus when needed. Wouldn't now be without.

This is a beautiful lens ,60mm f/2.8 make it nice portrait lens as well... excellent Micro + close up this s nano crystal G version lens in £240 to £330 pounds on ebay .for me 2nd best Nikon macro afer Nikon 105mm f/2.8 vr....which is £480 to over £540...so 60mm good value for money :)
