Better than expected
Just needed a small pair of stand alone speakers to fit under the seat of my 59 Ford Skyliner, to avoid cutting any holes in the original panels. The Boss 200 speakers are perfect. The sound quality is exceptional for such small speakers, even the bass is good. Well made and packaged. Perfect solution to my application.

Clear sound giving much pleasure in both classical and rock.
Not large physically but exceptional mid and high range sound obviously not heavy on bass but clear and concise. Terrific value for money at just under £40. One criticism is they are rated at 120 watts, this cannot be the case more like 25w to 35w before they hit distortion. Perfectly loud enough unless you want to use them for a rave.

Compact and complete!
I use a pair of box speakers on the front parcel shelf of my van, as the standard speakers in the door cards are barely audible at motorway speeds.. I used to have a pair of Bass Face speakers which were pretty good, however a year or so later and both had failed. Unable to comment on the longevity of these new boss speakers at the moment, I will instead say that they feel well made, the sounds they emit are just fine for my needs, with crisp treble and a surprising amount of bass, and plenty loud enough to satisfy my hearing.. on a scale of 1 through 30 on the audio on my van, without these speakers it was usually up in the high teens.. now I am at 7 or 8 unless I want to deafen myself, where I crank it up to 20, or 2/3 of full volume. I am not saying they are cheap, but seem to represent value for money, and hopefully will provide many years of listening...Read full review

Not many surface speakers on eBay and the ones I tried were awful. Got these and very happy fit very neatly above the seat belts in my landrover defender and good enough quality to hear over the noise now very happy 😊 oh and good quality fitting brackets and excellent fixing 👍
