Brought this to give my girls more space and it's definitely done that. I have 2 and it's a good size for them possibly 3. The design means that all of the run is useable space and the coop itself is roomy too with a the option to segregate the nesting box and a cute little window, which my nosey girls love although I have put a little curtain up for night time. The 4 openings mean it's easy to access and clean. It was easy to assemble and is pretty sturdy considering the price. Overall very happy, would of given it a 5 but do think the instructions could of been a bit clearer, we managed but more by luck and judgement.

Looks better in the advertisment. A fox could easily break into this house. Mr fox can easily scare roosing hens because of the clear window into roosting house. Not very big, I only have 2 Warrens and a bantam, its good they like each othere as roosting perch is small!

Really happy with the hen house, the predrilled countersink holes and dowels made it possible to build by myself, it only took about an hour and forty minutes to put together (including tea break!). Would have given it 5 stars except for a few hinges and clasps that didn’t quite meet up- although this wasn’t too much bother to tweak and move these. I highly recommend. I also liked the fact there was very little plastic used in the packaging (maybe an alternative for the few bits of polystyrene would be lovely though). The pretty yellow paper will keep me in wrapping paper for the next year- so added bonus! As for the size I’m happy to be putting 3 hens in, although mine will be allowed to free range when I’m not at work. I’m not sure I’d want to put more than that in- although my 15 year old does fit rather nicely... Hope this review helps. Read full review

instructions were not always clear but managed to get it together with a little bit of trial and error. It is made pretty well, my chickens adapted to it pretty quickly though they are used to having the run of the garden so it would be alittle small for them to be locked in all day.

Although the wood may not last, I have painted it all and placed the House on solid floor to help preserve. It was easy to put together and will serve the purpose of giving cover to my birds. This is not their primary roost and is being used as a 'hang out zone' in a sunny spot in the garden . If it were their only home I would limit the amount of chickens or pay more for a bigger area with more solid wood. Overall happy with what I paid for.
