I was very pleasantly surprised by this stands strength and quality. It is the low end of LP's bongo stands and you can see where they cut corners to address costs. However, it is still a very nice stand that holds the bongs in place quite nicely. I believe that if you handle this stand properly and don't over tighten the various wing nuts (where LP cut costs) this stand will last for years. I'm using LP Classic II's which are quite heavy bongos and have had no issues with the stand. Overall this is a great value and I would definitely recommend it.
