Had my old Dyson for 15 years & then bought another make. Less than 2 years later it kept overheating & cutting out. Decided to go back to Dyson. Even although this is sold as refurbished it looked brand new & the fact that a 2 year guarantee comes with it makes me happy. On first use the amount of dirt that was in the container from my carpets, showed me how badly my other vacuum had failed me. I highly recommend this product & for the price I paid fantastic.

I am still unconvinced about this purchase. I bought specially because my house is fully carpeted and my Miele did a way better job. I seem to have to vaccum clean over and over in the same place to get it properly done. But it's compact enough and somehow seeing all that the dust that it actually cleans it's actually reassuring. But I think I should have bought a Henry. P.s. also this Dyson is ugly. Fact.

I bought this to replace my old Dyson which needed a new motor after seventeen years of good service. I am delighted with the new one which feels solid and is powerful. I was almost put off by a review that complained about the length of the stem, because i am tall. However i have not found that to be an issue, and wonder if the reviewer had realised that the stem is telescopic. Also like others i find it hard to believe that this is a refurbished machine, because it was absolutely immaculate when i unpacked it, though the box was quite battered - i wonder if they are actually returned stock. Either way, i would recommend this product highly.

I bought this dyson hoover based on the reviews already on here and I'm so pleased I did. Such a fantastic price for a dyson hoover and even better with the 2 year guarantee. I used it straight away and it made me realise how crap my other supermarket brand one was. Never again! So easy to put together and is really powerful. Won't buy any other brand now.
