This is a very well made product and makes the tedious job of planting any type of bulb very simple. Works on any type of soil but is excellent on moist soils. Just push the planter into the ground lift up and it leaves a perfect hole for your bulbs

I decided to order this product as it was a good price, it was delivered on time. When using for the first time I found it started bending at the base as I was putting my foot on the the peg and applying pressure. It would probably be ok for ok regards very soft soil but not good for my garden.

At first use it was too blunt to drive into even soft soil, but after sharpening in the workshop was a lot better. Handle broke on second day, thanks to my well equipped workshop, I was able to reshape, glue up with epoxy and pin back together with steel pins. Works ok now. Well, it was CHEAP.

Well made, but heavier than expected (my fault, should have checked info provided).Does not work well in heavy matted turf...cutting edge poor and foot bar narrow. After removing areas of grass with a turf cutter, it worked ok on the exposed ground. Works fine in cultivated areas.

The T handle has been cut to short, you need to twist the tool to pull it out of the ground not much of a handle to grip on. Where you put your foot to push the tool into the ground is to short, the tool did start to bend after about the 40th hole. The best way to use this tool is to place a block of wood on the round metal hole and stand on it to push it into the ground the it works well. I would recomend the tool if you use it this way.
