Having looked at many lightweight camping chairs being offered, I decided to purchase two of these, in spite of having read all the comments about rust and excess wrapping. Yes there was some rust on hinged pieces, possibly caused by storage in the plastic wrap but a little light sanding and a touch of Vaseline took care of that. The wrapping does try ones patience but it was a total protection. If you want perfection and visual beauty, then not for you but at the price, they do the job of easy to carry, portable seating.

Can't complain about the product but a big thumbs down about the packaging. I have never before received an item that has had the packaging riveted to it. Clearly this product has been assembled with the plastic protective sleeve in situ. Took the best part of an hour to try and remove the plastic sleeving. Even the foam arm rests have been fitted OVER the sleeving as had the canvas seat and back. Utterly ridiculous.

How ever have just received my second chair and the rubber arm rest cover has a half inch cut in the rubber , I'm happy to keep it , but would appreciate some companction was delivered in cardboard box, thanks , Graham bashford.

The chair is constructed over the polythene protective coating on the tubing, and is virtually impossible to fully remove leaving the chair looking scruffy. Also there were chunks out of the neoprene handles and dents and marks near a weight bearing joint on the frame. like the say you get what you pay for but in this case I don't expect substandard.

It arrived a little late (as we were packing to go LOL) but it more than made up for this in the comfort and design. It's light and easy to carry and packs away very well.
