Was a little difficult to install on my own given the weight (and therefore quality) of the product, but with the cunning use of an upside-down flower pot I managed to get it into position so that I could attach it to the flange. EXCELLENT product. The last model I had was fitted over 20 years ago, so if this one lasts as long I'll be chuffed. Didn't have an air switch on the last one but decided to fit one, which is SO much more convenient (and safer) than using the wall isolator all the time. it's HUGE compared to the last one, yet when it's fitted it doesn't take up all that much more space. When in use, especially running with nothing in it, it's silent. Only makes a slight noise when you feed it. HIGHLY recommend this model - well worth the extra couple of quid.

easy to fit locks on to the sink waste" supplied" like fitting a light bulb very quiet i dont think i would like to fit it to a light weight stainless sink we fitted to a resin sink the rubber mount absorbs most of the vibration very quiet surprised what it will grind away i cant believe how low our dustbin is now we dont throw food waste into it and it smells a lot better recommend this product it is higher priced than a lot but the price reflects in the quality and performance
