Had reservations when I bought this due to the price being lower than most other offerings, however I was very pleasantly surprised when I received the item.. well packaged and weighed an absolute ton! The parts all seemed very well machined and everything needed to assemble the stand was included. The instruction leaflet included in the box leaves a little to be desired, not very clear! However a quick navigate to YouTube was all I needed to watch a step by step video guide of a chap putting one together and showing what each component is for (you get additional parts for different mounting methods) All in all I am very very pleased with this purchase, my laptop sits on the stand perfectly and despite it being a very heavy laptop I don't have any concerns about the strength of the stand at all. The shelf under the main platform is absolutely perfect for my audio interface too so it makes for a very compact setup. Highly recommended!Read full review

the shelf bit just does not stay up... there is nothing in the design (save for extreme tightening of the respective screws) that would enable it to stay up, which is strange. I have had to use string loops through the top arms to support the shelf. This is not massively inconvenient for me, but may be for others. Aside from that, very solid and worth the price.

Makes the DJ's/Singers Life Better with one of these. I was worried about how sturdy it would be, but it was great. I have a 17in Heavy Laptop that to be double safe I attached two sided velcro, the same underneath for my hard drive. It is very secure and for the money is a steal.
