Modern antifreeze/coolant is confusing as different vehicle makers specify different types which can't be mixed. Traditional Blue with 2 year anti-corrosion life, Red OAT with 5 year anti-corrosion life and Greens which vary on life spans. Mazda's FL22 being about top with 11 years. Pretty confusing and some makers having a real laugh with the pricing. So at last UK firm Holts have a superb product in their Prestone brand which lasts 10 years, can safely be mixed with any of the others and comes at a very reasonable price. They guarantee it to be safe for any make of vehicle. Just Brilliant. I recommend the concentrate version for a complete change as ready to use diluted is tricky since you won't get the water out of the engine, only the radiator so the mix may end up.wrong. If you know the total volume in the system then you can work out how much concentrate to put in and it will fit in the radiator. I use 1 part concentrate to 2 parts water for English weather. This is fully tested and guaranteed and much better quality and value than those from car main dealers. Very highly recommended.
