This is a fairly basic steam iron. It's much better thought through than the Russell Hobbs one I tried. It has variable steam which is good, but only three positions. Off, High and Low. Even on the low setting it produces more steam than I really need. The ceramic soleplate is not quite as smooth as a stainless steel one, but hopefully it will improve with use. For the price, it's a bargain.
