This is a really great little machine but you have to know exactly how to use it. There is plenty of advice on the internet to enable you to make the perfect expresso or cappucino with this machine so its worth a look if you are thinking of buying one. Although we paid a good price for this one (£175- they are well over £500 new) we had it checked over and seals etc replaced which cost us about £50, so not as cheap as it seemed. However it was well worth it and I can recommend Craystone Shop for servicing. We now have lovely coffee every morning. Make sure you get the tamper as it is a specific size and if poss the cleaning brush as neither is cheap if you have to buy them. Machine does need some care. Regular descaling using special descaler and of course a daily clean once you have finished making your coffee. Also - it looks great on the kitchen worktop!Read full review

I like this coffee machine so much i bought one of ebay just in case mine broke. The coolest looking coffee machine ever. but, drips a fair bit after you have espressed your coffee & is best left for a bit to heat up. Does the job, using the ground coffee creates a little more mess than using the ESE (easy serving espresso pods) but larger selection of coffee and cheaper. These machines vary from £400 to £600. I paid £300 for my original in 2003 and it served me well. The temp guage stopped working about 3 years ago but everything else worked fine. The one Ibought for £80 of E bay was an absolute steal and worked perfectly.
A very good product arrived safely as promised, was well packed and worked well as expected.

Great coffee machine, so easy to use and the coffee it makes is immense... Would always recommend to any one...
The machine looks good, but I really can't get this machine to make a cafe creme even if I use the top class coffee that is supposed to be a Cafe Creme variety. You need to make sure you put the exact amount of coffee, too little will be too weak, too much and the machine leaks coffee out the side.
