Great for the pro or homeowner.
I’m a professional painter, I’ve taped and masked (literally) thousands of windows, doors, tubs, trim and more. This is the only handmasker I’ll buy. Don’t waste money on the cheaper model or any kind of knockoff. If you take care of the tool it will last for quite a while. Don’t let it fall off the ladder and bend the blade or loosen the tape dispensing wheel or you’ll end up struggling with the handmasker afterwards. Good for taping trim to spray walls or ceilings to split colors. Use rolls of plastic to tape tubs or windows and spray your walls in 1/8 of the time as rolling. If you’re a pro this little piece of molded plastic and metal blade will make you lots of money. If you’re a homeowner it will save you lots of time and headaches. Absolutely worth the $50-$70.

Purchased this hoping to save over the larger, better unit. This does not come with a blade to cut the paper or film. And those blades are not cheap. I should have just bought the larger unit for $67 at Sherwood Williams paint store which by the way there price bests any of the prices on Ebay.

Painter's dream...
I had a M3000 masked years ago and forgot what a great tool it was until I bought a cheaper one recently to do a small job. That convinced me to buy another to keep on hand. It really is one of the most efficient painters tools that I have ever used.

Blade for paper or plastic film is usually sold separately; have heard the paper blade works for the plastic film as well. Handles a variety of tape widths, and manufacturers. Would recommend this for pro or homeowner doing a variety of paint/drywall texture/finishing/sanding or any project requiring masking.
