Personally, I loathe Ab Fab. However, my husband finds it hilarious. He thinks this DVD is great. However, we both agree that there is a lot of 'noise' on the reproduction. Not the fault of the seller, it is just the quality of the recording, and unless it is digitally re-mastered, I suspect there is nothing that can be done about it. Husband's rating is good for content, below average for quality, but that is the fault of the original producer.
This is a classic. I bought it as I was having a wine-tasting party and I wanted to show how it really should be done-as in the "France" episode. Patsy and Edina really know how to drink wine in style. Every single one of the actors is fabulous in their role and the result is one of the best sit-coms ever produced.
Great all round x

not really my thing have heard so many rave comments about ab fab but afraid it bored me but not to say other people might get enjoyment from it
Some episodes are not for kids! Sometimes Ab Fab appears to endorse cannabis, cocaine, driving under the influence (of alcohol) though thankfully never the drugs that turn normal people into prostitutes; they being: heroin, crack-cocaine and crystal-meth. Yes for kids... Some episodes don't have drug implications and kids can develop the great British and Irish dry sense of humour that others are blind to. eg. Note the clothes changes as they walk through a Moroccan market. Women are discouraged from 'showing their wares' in Muslin countries and the 'street catwalk' alterations are down to this. I'm not even sure that one is on this DVD, but all the series are worth buying anyway. If I'm reborn as a man, I want to be Homer Simpson. If as a woman, I want to be Patsy Stone. Get the whole lot! You can then tell your grandkids that that was what life was like in our days. Overall summery: BRILLIANT!Read full review
