I put the item to a different use than intended. Birds try to build a nest in my carport. I cover the area and they go away, After nesting season I take the product down. This is easier than fooling with the messy mud nest.

My 3"gutter does not make the gutter guard I originally had in them. So I believe these Mesh Leaf Gutter Guard will work even better than the old ones.

I put a leaf strainer in the downspout and added this on top to keep the leaves from choking the drain. It wasn't long enough to cover the entire gutter so I folded the tail end of it and put it little stone on it down in the gutter floor. The tree that's giving me problems is closer to the other end anyway. No more overflows in the middle. I put a piece of wood behind the gutter Against the fascia because it sagged back from the weight of the water when it was choked up. No problems now.

It's a quick-and-dirty gutter guard to install but best with ties to secure it to the gutter nails. Also functions better if it doesn't make an arch on the gutter because it will catch leaves and interfere rain flowing into the gutter.

It’s a little bit flimsier than the other stuff I’ve used but I use it to keep my hornworms off the ground and let their poop fall through. I’m sure it’s good for gutters, and there’s a lot of it. The widest roll I’ve come across, that’s for sure. Good price.
