This an excellent product with good features. Small, compact and easy to use. It makes great coffee too. The additional 1 shot coffee holder is great for a quick expresso. The large steam wand froths the milk quickly and easily BUT remember to use cold, full fat milk and a large jug, preferably stainless steel for the best results. Using the "pre-heat" is always good as this ensures the the coffee is always hot. A point made by friends who had my coffee and were surprised how hot it was, even cappuccino. The drip tray is excellent and the small extension at the back that catches the expelled steam when the machine is turned off is a very good idea. Previous machines that I have had have tended to leak round the seal between the metal funnel and the locking ring. So far so good. The instruction booklet is very clear and easy to follow, though the translation into english is a little quirky in places. My only concern is that the inside of the metal funnel is beginning to stain with a dark grey specking resulting in a rough surface, despite being washed every time. Additionally after making a coffee and removing the metal funnel there is always residual water on top of the coffee grounds. The residual grounds should be dry. However over all a great product.Read full review

I wasn't sure initially about my Jack Stonehouse, having had a Delonghi for the past few years but this gave up on me. I can't believe how good it is, it really does match the DeLonghi, is smaller and more compact, heats up really quickly, frothes the milk really well - I'm delighted would definitely r commend.

It takes a few practices to get it how you like it, which is to be expected. I find you can only make a small mug at a time, so takes a little while to make 2 cups, again its getting used to using it. I find it best to run a little water into the ground coffee to dampen and get the flavour, let it rest while you heat your milk, then run the coffee through, add milk and its a very nice coffee. I have found that if you do not empty out the water tank after use it leaks if left standing after a while.

I bought this machine from its appearance and description. I was not disappointed. It does what it says on the box and fast . No long winded procedures. Fill it with water, pop in the coffee and switch on. The machine preheats the water and a green light tells you when to switch over to brew and froth the milk if you're having cappuccino. Unlike some expresso machines it isn't constantly pressurised, but a pump provides pressure on demand, so no danger of scalding. You can remove the coffee filter immediately after brewing. Simple and an excellent machine.
