With apologies for the title pun, these LED Lender torches are brilliant. Forget the mad claims of unknown brand torches which disappoint when used in real life. This torch has a quality feel and a push/pull zoom. Compact and quality. A strong beam for such a small torch. Highly recommend.

This torch is compact, light (without feeling skimpy or cheaply made) and, most importantly, incredibly bright. I found the focus, achieved by sliding the lens backwards and forwards, a little sticky at first, but it has eased to be really smooth and controlled. The fact that there are two brghtnesses means you can prioritise battery power when you don't need to see as far ahead. The only real downsides are that it needs 4 AAA batteries at a timeand, if you don't ration your use of full beam, it burns through them quite quickly. I've tried rechargable batteries, but they don't last well at all.
