Having tried several types of secateur and being disappointed in all (quality, comfort, quality, etc.), decided to try these, noting the very positive online reviews. These are outstanding - cleverly-designed, well-made, very efficient, and a sensible colour - little risk of losing them in the garden, as has happened several times with others. Recommended without hesitation.

A neat piece of design, and apparently well-made. However, buyers should be aware that the stated 20mm capability is an exaggeration, being the distance between the extreme tips of the cutters. 15mm is the actual maximum of this model. Also, it is very easy to trap finger-tips between the handles (which are hard plastic), one of which rotates to provide the geared action. To be honest, I prefer my 30-year-old CK secateurs!

Fuskars are the only ones for me! Bought my first pair of Fiskars Secateurs several years ago. Tried and tested through and through, still going strong! But when I saw the excellent price of these, well, I thought I would treat myself to a new pair. ( nothing like having a spare pair for kback up!). The design has even been improved upon. Highly recommend these.

I find the rolling handle is particularly comfortable for my arthritic hands. I didn't notice before I got it but it comes in different sizes so I might have been better off with a small size that didn't open as wide but still very usable.

Sharp and easy to use. The action make pruning easy without getting aching wrists that I have been getting with my other pruner. Just love pruning with this one.
