I purchased this item for my husband for his hobby, needed a fine detailer for small things, it is brilliant, light weight, easy to use and put in a fixed position that he has made, the parts are quite hard wearing apart from the brown cutting discs, these snap far too easily, there are many accessories with it and many more available to buy, quiet to use which i love as he uses it in the sitting room. The case will hold so much more than it came with which is handy. In all it is a very good tool, would highly recommend , good value, well made, easy to use. Great...

A good price and works fine, only downsides are that it doesn't allow you to change the carbon brushes, it overheats quickly if used to cut/grind for extended periods and the internal collar needs to be swapped to accept standard 3.2mm bits (which was no problem for me). My last three Dremel 300's burnt-out very quickly, so this cheaper option makes good financial sense, very similar to the old Black and Decker Wizard I had.

This was bought as a replacement for an old broken machine. Seems just as good as the old one, with the exception that it comes with 5 collets instead of a chuck and the old one doesn’t fit, so only 5 drill sizes will fit exactly. This may not be a problem, time will tell. Overall though a very handy tool

Bought this as a replacement of my Draper Multi-Tool that failed after I'd had it 16 years. This slightly reshaped body and higher wattage model is just as useful for what it does. The old model had the 3-jaw chuck rather than the collet system that the newer models have but I suppose that this is a safety improvement. Got to say I have only used my new one for a bit of polishing and some drilling, just at the lower speeds, I can imagine that it could be used as a mini-router at the higher speeds with the correct attachment. It does tend to run warm after extended periods of use so not sure if it would be rated for industrial use but for light hobby work and it's versatility it's a must-have bit of kit for me.
