Push Bike Trailer For the money it's a bargain, it is easy to build you only need a 10mm and 17mm spanner and a cross head screwdriver, it's very light weight, has proper pneumatic tyres, and handles well. I agree with one of the other reviews the bottom of the plastic crate is not supported, but it is made of thick strong plastic with a thick rim that sits firmly on the frame, so unless you are going to be carrying a heavy load you should be fine. I have not loaded it up to the full 80kgs it is supposed to be able to carry and think you would be foolish towing that amount of weight without brakes on the trailer. I like the tow ball coupling its just like a standard car type only smaller I also like that it is not attached to the rear wheel like so many others are. If I had to pick a fault it would be that there are no mudguards so you get wet in the rain but that's a small problem. For the money it is a functional good piece of kit, add to that the very quick FREE delivery. The trailer is highly recommended.Read full review

This trailer seemed at first to be fine once assembled (although I was worried about the bearings). Assembly is not easy even with with a good set of tools and some knowledge of practical mechanics. The instructions are frankly inadequate. Having got as far as assembling the frame I had to dismantle it again when it became clear that the four vertical struts listed in the instructions as identical were in fact not so. Although the instructions contained a picture of them with 'x 4' against it, in fact there were two which were a few mm longer and with drilled holes part way down. Those two belong at the rear, the slightly shorter ones go at the front. If it is not assembled with the struts this way round, the drilled holes in the towbar will not align with those in the frame. The upper loop of the frame has a mounting attached which is not as shown in the instructions, so I had to carefully work out which way up it was supposed to go: if put on the wrong way round, again the towbar would not then match with it. The instructions did not specify whether the axles should be greased before assembly: I assumed not since there was no mention of this. I hoped I had not set it up to grind it's bearings away by doing so. I was only able to connect the trailer to my bicycle using a seatpost mount which I had kept from an old trailer. It did not come with any useable connector. Tightening all the bolts and wheel mountings turned out to require two each of 10mm, 13mm, 15mm and 16mm spanners (or socket spanner). This was not mentioned in the instructions. After a few month's use, the trailer has twice come detached from the bike while going along a road. This could easily cause an accident, so unless I can find a way of improving the coupling, it will have to go. Read full review

Let's put this way, Recently I fitted new tyres and tubes to my cycle at a cost of £50. The trailer has cycle type wheels, tyres and tubes and all frame and fittings for not much more. 'Good value'. The only weak point is the tow bar; fitting a metal tube to another without a bracket is not the most positive connection.

I bought this trailer as it was reasonably priced & looked just the thing I needed. It arrived on time, the box looked as if it had been through the mill a bit but was intact, just! The instructions were ok but the screws & bolts were a bit flimsy. Most were just that bit too short & two were way too long but I have lots of odds & ends so managed to cobble something together. One big issue for me was the lack of fitting instructions for the tow ball and, again, an inadequate bolt but I had one I could replace it with & got there eventually. All seems ok but I'll be trying it out properly tomorrow so we'll see. All in all it's a good looking product if you can cope with a few dodgy screws & improvise on fitting!

Big and practical. Wheels just have spindles through no bearings which makes them a little wobbly. The joint on the connecting bar was a little loose after tightening the bolt on the joint but a spot of weld wlil sort that. I've used it for moving garden stuff including leaf mould(compost) The trailer coped fine with the weight although I didn't over load it. Towing is easy. Empty you don't know it's there on a smooth bit of road. With weight in as expected. Ideal for what I want it for BUT I don't think you'll be moving wardrobes with it? Or will you??????
