Used, but in good condition, the 27" iMac was at a good price. I sold my 21.5" iMac K4 to help with the expense of upgrading! Set up and migration was easy and all Apps. and Programs transferred properly. I found that the Fusion drive was slow and "laggy" compared to my 21.5"(which had an SSD).As this was to be my "ultimate" machine, I treated myself to 2 x 4GB extra sticks of RAM and a 500GB external SSD. The RAM made little difference, but the external SSD did speed up the running although still very slow to start-up. It boots from the SSD and the Fusion drive is now redundant. (Not sure what to do with it!) It never has to work hard as I am retired and only use it for mail and on-line purchasing, but it is pleasant to use and nice to own. Happy......

Upgraded the purchase and opted for the bigger RAM and memory options. It’s a great buy and you would never believe it’s refurbished. Came with a one year guarantee as well for extra peace of mind.

What's not to love? Already beefed up the ram to 40gb and now it flies with adobe CC. I would have a new one if I could justify the cost but this was well priced and every bit as good. Graphics card much improved over my last 2010 iMac, screen is great for web design and video production. My only wish, would have been for a 2TB hard drive, but I can upgrade to that later. Overall, absolutely delighted.
