Hi All, I have a Sony cam-corder,that records on tape Hi8 its rather big. At the time when i bought it about 20yrs ago my children where young and the idea was to record at birthdays and christmas. I used to link up with the usuall red, yellow and white leads and play it onto a vhs tape. Then tech moved on and the dvd recorder came on the market. We did not have the cash to buy one so we kept on using vhs. About 10yrs ago my wife bought me a disc cam corder but this was early days with this tech. I then, after saying I would never get a computer, bought a Dell pc and got hooked played on it all the time. Then thinking i will try to play my mini dics from my cam corder on the pc and down load them into my windows gallery. Not so,something about different format also from this cam-corder there was no usb outlet all high tech. Then I thought I can link the old cam-corder to a dvd recorder and also can connect the disc cam-corder in the same way to the same recorder and burn discs from both of them. DVD discs can be stored easily and not taking much room up. Now I am ok all is well for the moment, the time the brown stuff will hit the fan will be when high tech moves on and leaves us poor souls with a big need to buy very expensive equipment just to keep up with our needs. So to sum up i bought it just to burn family and holliday footage onto disc,so realy its just for my pleasure and yet another man gadget for my collection.By the way its been a cracking buy why would you go to currys or comet when we have Ebay. Its such a good way for people to sell things and buy things.Ebay has got such a grip of me every time my wife says we need ----I get straight onto you, its become more a fun thing and also if I get things local to where i live go and pick them up,cash on collection. Well I think i have given you enough Bull manure so i will say Kind Regards jeff.Read full review
This is the third DVDR3305 DVD Recorder I have owned over an 8 year period. I use it continually as it is attached to my Sky box and I download multiple episodes of my favourite series onto DVDs. I find it extreemely easy to use and it produces excellent copies. The fact that I have bought THREE of these machines speeks for itself. ( I have tried other machines but found them complicated and difficult to use.)
Bought to replace an old DVD recorder that doesn't work anymore. Great machine, very easy to set up and use. Perfect
