DVD ok, Blu-Ray a must have !
I got an affordable DVD in order to see the film, but then bought the 2-disc Blu-Ray which has superb resolution and an abundance of interesting extras. The DVD is fine for casual viewing, but if you really like this movie, invest in the Blu-Ray, it's well worth it !

Brilliant movie classic, totally duff 2000 DVD issue from Castle Home Video
This breaks my heart to give this brilliant film 2 stars as it deserves 5 (one of the best films of the 1980's) but it also deserves a good quality DVD release, not this half hearted 2000 one I bought with poor sound and compressed picture - I would have expected much better from Castle Home Video. Still, I got it very cheap and promptly from the seller so this'll keep me going til there's a decent release that does it justice...This breaks my heart to give this brilliant film 2 stars as it deserves 5 (one of the best films of the 1980's) but it also deserves a good quality DVD release, not this half hearted 2000 one I bought with poor sound and compressed picture - I would have expected much better from Castle Home Video. Still, I got it very cheap and promptly from the seller so this'll keep me going til there's a decent release that does it justice...
