    Reasonable quality

    The wood seems good quality with no tricky grain which can so easily be a weak point, but the riveting on the handle was slightly loose and needed tightening while the rivet to the head was being done. All in all a lot cheaper than a new good quality spade.

    Absolutely dreadful

    Broke on first use. Looks like untreated pine, you could snap the shaft over your knee. You'd have to be a right Barry's blanket to buy one of these. (Note: Barry's blanket - phrase derived from my mate Barry, who drives around with a really unpleasant blanket in the back of his van)

    You get what you pay for

    Very disappointed - looks good in the picture but very different on arrival. The thin metal handle is very poorly made, and where it is roughly hammered around the handle the edges are just like rough, sharp beer bottle tops. Sorry, but would not buy again.

    WOODEN SHAFT TYPE D 90CM / 0.9M

    when the goods arrived it was to long about 10" to long I then cut it and re shaped the end to fitt into the fork shaft section when all this was completed I tested it out the round section of the handle came loose and opened up then I was left with no other option but to repair it

    This handle is OK for the price, the "D" is a bit weak, just have to be careful knocking on to spade.
