This item was the subject of a few emails. It is described as capillary matting but it turns out there is insufficient capillary action to use the material as a wick to convey water up into a growbag. Liam initially asserted that this was simply a different grade of capillary matting to what I required. This material is ONLY suitable as a water retention mat and is incapable of raising water to any practical degree. This matter was resolved by Liam organising a full refund hence my +ve rating.
